Ayurvedic Therapy
Ayurveda translates into "the knowledge of life" and is the most ancient of health care practices. Rooted in elemental theory, Ayurveda states that each individual has their own unique combination of the elements or dosha. The goal of this modality is to maintain a balance of these elements, therefore maintaining wellness. Dis-ease and distress are caused by an imbalance in the doshas. Diet, lifestyle, herbs, meditation and yoga help you create a healthy mind, body and spirit. An Ayurvedic practitioner can assist you in providing guidance along the way as well as aiding the whole self in creating and maintaining balance with Ayurvedic bodywork including shirodara (head and scalp), abhyanga (body), nasya (sinus) and karna purana (ear candling). These sessions include medicinal oils created for your dosha for deep healing and relaxation.
Panchakarma is a detoxification program to eliminate accumulated toxins from both body and spirit. This program can last from 3-30 days depending on your goals and you will work one on one with your practitioner.

Abhyanga $105/60 min. $145/90 min.
An ancient massage technique which uses custom blended herbal oils for a full body massage. This is a very detoxifying massage promoting removal of metabolic waste. This therapy can be beneficial in pain relief, inflammatory conditions and as a soothing treatment for the nervous system. This is a cleansing, balancing and restorative treatment and is traditionally a very oily session as this promotes the detoxification. A warm shower post massage to remove toxins and excess oil is recommended.
Shirodara $95/60 min.
Shirodara translates into "head flow". The session includes warmed, custom blended oil for your dosha being gently poured over the forehead and scalp, flowing into the hair. This same oil is massaged into the neck, shoulders and feet for a deeply therapeutic experience. This ancient therapy has been shown to release stress and mental fatigue, and ease anxiety, depression, migraines and insomnia by aiding the body in releasing feel good hormones. This is a deeply relaxing and very oily treatment. A warm shower is recommended post treatment to remove toxins and excess oils.
Nasya $85/60 min.
Nasya therapy combines medicated oils and targeted massage of the neck, shoulders and face to promote opening in the sinus passages. The nasya oil is placed in the nostrils and includes marma point therapy on the face and kansa wand massage. Herbal steam towels gently remove the oils and further open the sinuses. Nasya is wonderful for decongesting the sinuses and also calming the mind, balancing the emotions, releasing discomfort in the head, neck and jaw area.
Karna Purana $85/60 min.
Karna Purana is an ear therapy for detoxification, balancing and stress relief. The therapy is also helpful with headaches and ear pain, tinnitus, seasonal allergies, dizziness, vertigo and nausea. The treatment includes warm, herbal smoke candled into the ear canal to facilitate cleansing, followed by a gentle massage of the face, neck, shoulders and ears. Karna Purana is finished with a gentle guasha massage to further detoxify and move lymph and a light oiling of the ear canal.
Panchakarma
Panchakarma is the ancient practice of detoxification and rejuvenation of the whole body. This includes the physical body as well as the mind and spirit. This is a three step therapy including pre-cleanse in which the body is prepared for the detoxification so that it doesn't result in stress. After the detoxification therapies there is a rejuvenation phase to help integrate the cleanse and nourish the entire body. Benefits of panchakarma include eliminating toxins from the body and purifying toxic thoughts and feelings from the mind and spirit, restoring your doshic/constitutional balance, improving health and wellness, strengthening the immune system and preventing illness, reversing the negative effects of environmental stress, slowing the aging process and providing a deeper sense of wellbeing and relaxation. This therapy can be tailored to each persons doshas and personal goals and can include a combination of the following:
Purvakarma or pre-cleanse (herbs to support digestive health, healthy oils taken internally and externally, and sauna)
Pradhanakarma or cleansing (herbal cleansing therapies, abhyanga, shirodara, nasya, herbal baths, cleansing diet, and detoxifying body treatments)
Paschatkarma or post cleanse (restorative diet, nourishing herbs, rest, meditation, abhyanga, self care practices and gentle yoga or exercise)
While a basic cleanse can be performed over a 3-6 day period, effective panchakarma should last from 21-30 days. Pricing will be individual based on the required and chosen therapies. This is intended to be a comprehensive therapy including nutritional and herbal support along with various massage and other bodywork therapies.
